Terrestrial carbon-water connections - European Arctic

Arctic Change over Recent Millennia – The Arctic has experienced much change over recent decades and is expected to warm and change even faster in coming years. This new project investigates Arctic mires as archives of past environmental variability in the Svalbard archipelago, Norway, and the sensitivity of this environment to change. This is a collaborative project that includes researchers from Norway and the UK during The International Polar Year 2007-2008.
